OLuce table lamp Acrilica 1 luce W4,3x8,5d H 23 cm
The model, created in 1962 and simply born as 281, will be nicknamed later "Acrilica", recalling the main material of this object and the extraordinary use made of it with 281. The methacrylate, in fact, already used for about a decade in the field of lighting, usually in thin sheets cut or thermoformed, it finds here a very particular use. The shape and the important thickness of the curve that composes the 281 allows, thanks to the conduction properties, that the light of a fluorescent bulb contained inside the painted steel base goes back along the transparent body and illuminates the head.
